Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Ken OMEGA has been rhyming and producing since 1988. Formerly known as Bosco Money, the MC from Downtown Science (Def Jam / Sony), OMEGA has been at the forefront of beat and rhyme technology since early on. Songs from his Downtown Science days such as "Room to Breathe", "Radioactive", and "This Is A visit", transcended hip-hop's limitations and set trends.

After Def Jam, OMEGA went independent, and in 1992 dropped the street classic single: "I Get Lifted" b/w "Ride The B Side" whle still known as Bosco Money. Recorded in a Soho basement , the single blazed charts nationwide for several months, galvanizing Ken's status as an underground pioneer and a flow king.

A couple of years went by before O's next big release. But after a two year hiatus, the Poetry Pope came back angry as ever on the highly acclaimed street classic "Da Plan".

"To this day DJ's from all over the world email me feinding for a copy," says OMEGA. "I've got no real tracking team. So I had no idea just how popular that cut was until a few years ago when the internet became really widespread.
Secret Agent came next. This was the hip-hop opera OMEGA put out in 1999 that told of a spy (Agent 22 / Agent 710) who went under cover to rescue rap from the clutches commercialism. The whole experience - from the cover art, to the songs, skits and production - is simply a beautiful work of art by Bos. "Da Plan" , along with several other banger such as, "Sounds Good", "Midnight Ride", "Catch 22", and "No Stress" are all available on this millenial Masterpiece.

Some of Bos OMEGA's more recent works include the LP, Omega 710 - released in Summer of 2003, the Meteor EP - released in the summer of 2004, and metal rap headbanger called "TV" that was done with guitarist, Vernon Reid of Living Color, and DJ Logic who are collectively known as the Yohimbe Brothers. It available on the album The Tao of Yo (Thirsty Ear Recordings)

Currently, OMEGA is Producing and performing on his latest Project: High Rollers. Aside from that, expect to hear occaisional solo leaks.

Ken OMEGA is also a currently rated helicopter l[ilot with over 165 hours flight time. He flies private tours by appointment.
